| A simple, unadorned and elegant 1-1/4 x 1-3/8" oval photo locket with a 5/8" wide loop for suspension, fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1875-6. It has a somewhat obscured maker's mark, and each separate section has hallmarks (loop, front and back panels). It weighs an impressive 20.3 grams, and it has some minor variations in the colour of the gold on one panel (not as noticeable in real life and the greenish colour is a light reflection only). This item is in excellent original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some tiny and shallow dents from use over the decades. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
