| An elegant Edwardian period boxed set of six shirt or vest mother-of-pearl buttons with 15k yellow gold centers and loops (unmarked but tested) c1901-10. This set consists of the 5-1/4" x 1-3/8" dark brown leather-covered box with gold trim, containing six 9/16" gold and mother-of-pearl buttons plus six gold plated spiral button attachment loops. The box is fitted with a royal purple velvet platform and silk lined top. It is stamped BROOK & SON GOLDSMITHS TO THE KING 87 GEORGE STREET EDINBURGH on the silk. This set is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
