| A wonderfully ornate mid-Victorian gold brooch with swags and a drop, with almandine garnet stones. This c1860 pin measures 2 x 1-1/4" (not including the original long c-clasp pin), it has fine wirework, texturing and fancy trim, bezel-set stones and chain swags. It is unmarked but tested and it weighs 6.2 grams; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than some old lead soldering on the bottom of one remounted swag (a bit of solder is visible from the front). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
