| An attractive and vintage 10-1/2" high (without handles) deep handled Micmac or M'ikmaq tribal basket c1920s-30s. This attractive deep basdket features woven sweetgrass handles and ash splint construction, with some original green, orange and red colour remaining, especially in the interior. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than one tiny break (see image) and some very minor splits to a few of the curls. Please note that the green on the interior is much more intense than in our pictures, and that the colour is more light faded on the exterior, although still visible. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $19 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
