| This is a partial set of 51 pieces of English mid-19th century (or earlier) heavy ironstone dinnerware, marked Real Stone China in the pattern number 142. Decoration is in the Imari palette, and the company remains unidentified as does the precise date of production - real stone china and similar terms were on the back of various English china firms from about 1820 onward. It is uncommon to find such large matching sets of vintage ironstone such as this, and this set is in excellent original condition for its age, with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs unless noted (see images for examples of damage on the listed pieces with flaws). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have expected signs of gentle use and original manufacturing irregularities. Shipping will take at least 5-6 large boxes and minimal packing and shipping supply fees will be added to the total, which will vary depending on your location and shipping requirements for this heavy ironstone. Payment for this set is by cheque, bank draft, bank wire transfer or money order ONLY, and insurance for loss will be part of the shipping quote. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we do not accept PayPal. The pieces include: -eighteen 10-1/2" dinner plates (12 undamaged, 5 with bottom rim chips or bottom rim impact cracks, 1 with a small hairline) -three 8" breakfast plates (1 undamaged, 2 bottom rim chips) -twelve 10-1/2" large rim soup bowls (11 undamaged, 1 with hairline crack) -twelve 9" small rim soup bowls (11 undamaged, 1 bottom rim chip) -8-1/2"L x 5-1/4"W x 6-1/8"H sauce boat (small upper rim chip, small hairline on lid, one repaired handle (see pictures)) -two 12-1/4"L x 9-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H covered entree dishes (1 undamaged, 1 rim hairline (barely visible on outer surface) plus impact crack at base (see picture)) -14-3/4"L x 9-1/4"L x 10-1/2"H two piece soup tureen (undamaged) -17-1/4" x 13-5/8" serving platter (undamaged) -21-1/4" x 17-1/4" oversize serving platter (undamaged, part-glazed bottom, impressed "N") | ||||||||||||||
