| A simple and elegant Mexican sterling silver brooch and earrings set by Carmen Beckmann of San Miguel de Allende c1960s. They have a striking swirl design that is made more dramatic by the deep oxidized channel. They are signed BECKMANN MEXICO STERLING (the two centre letters of Beckmann are missing because the brooch was stamped where the brooch raises up in the centre...). The brooch measures 1-7/8" across and the earrings (which are screw-backs) measure approximately 7/8" across. The clasp is a c-clasp with a simple but effective lift up latch to help secure the brooch next to it. The set is in excellent condition, with no cracks, dents, damage or repairs. The set weighs 30.9 grams. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
