| A large and attractive hand coloured aquatint engraving by Charles Hunt of the painting "Snipe Shooting", by Francis Calcraft Turner (1795-1865). Published by I.W. Laird, London in 1841, this print has an impression size of 22-1/2" x 18-1/4", it comes in an ebonized and gilt wood 26" x 21-1/2" frame. This print is in excellent original condition with no foxing, tears, soiling, losses, damage or repairs other than some small nicks to the black frame. The colours are somewhat more muted than on the companion print we have listed. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping (securely packed) to the continental U.S. starts at $38 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
