| An ornate and splendid Victorian engraved and embossed 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" photo locket and chain. The locket has a large bale for hanging, it retains its two photo bezels, and it is fully hallmarked Birmingham, England 1882 (obscured maker's mark). The 17-3/4" cutwork silver chain is 1/2" wide and unmarked; it has a silver plated loop and large spring-ring catch. It weighs 40.8 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting on the bale and some shallow denting on the sides of the locket. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
