| A scarce signed vintage Los Castillo Mexican sterling brooch in the shape of a Mayan head with free-swinging arms. This elegant solid cast 2-3/4" x 1-3/8" silver pin weighs 16.1 grams and besides the Los Castillo Mexico round mark it has the bell mark with 15 and a design number 136. It was apparently purchased originally in the 1950s. I have been unable to resist wearing this brooch - it looks great on and has received many compliments. It is in excellent original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. is $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card; items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
