| A fine mid-Victorian hand carved genuine jet brooch c1860-80. This 1-1/4" pin features a centrial acorn with oak leaves atop a faceted gallery. It has a brass c-clasp, and this unsigned pin is in excellent original condition with no cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than one tiny chip to the upper rim of the surround under the acorn and two small bites to the underside edge (not visible when the pin is worn). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping is $6 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card; credit card items will be shipped to confirmed addresses only.
