| A splendid and attractive late Victorian or early Edwardian gilt sterling layered garnets brooch c1900. This 1-5/8" across pin features deep red claw-set rose cut garnets in a gilt sterling setting with five layers; it has an early safety catch. This beauty is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
