| A vintage 19th century ornate and highly embossed gilt brass small round box, possibly for the dresser, jewellery or ointment. This 2-1/4" across and 1-1/2" high box is unsigned, and the swirling design on the top and leafy garlands on the sides give it a great look; t his item is in very good original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of some of the gilding on the top and sides (the gilding is bright and intact on the interior). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. Uninsured surface shipping starts at $4.50 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $100 if paid with a credit card. We do ship internationally.
