| A gargantuan and wonderfully flashy Continental rhinestone brooch and matching earrings c1960s, in their original fitted box. The gold plated 3-1/8" brooch has a huge array of navette or marquise and round cinnamon rhinestones and deep blue round aurora borealis rhinestones, all claw-set and arrayed in a layered flower or pinwheel arrangement. It has a safety catch, and the 7/8" x 3/4" snap-on earrings match the pin. The box is covered in blue plush, and it has a fitted platform for the earringsw and pin. The pieces are unmarked (the box has the Continental blue and gold logo), and this set is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a stain on the top of the box. Please note that our pictures don't even come close to illustrating the flash and impact of this wonderful set.
