| An unusual and early gilt metal or pinchbeck late Regency / early Victorian brooch, c1830-40. It is a large brooch, measuring 3 1/8" in length and is 1 1/4" long, and is 3/4" deep. The round bead swag chain and drop are free swinging. It is in excellent condition with the original extending pin, and has no damage or replacements. There are two pin prick sized dents on the back, very shallow and small and not visible from the front. Other than that minor detail, it is in remarkably well cared-for condition, and it looks lovely on. Surface shipping is $6 to the US (other spots may vary) - insured is higher.
