| An unusual silver plated oval table snuff box c1900. It has an applied enamelled crest with the Latin motto NIHI PARTA TUERI (which translates as I WILL DEFEND WHAT IS MINE). This 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" box stands 1" high and it is stamped EPNS and S & Co. It is in very good condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, scratches, repairs or damage, but there is the expected fine patina of scratches from use and time.
