| A lovely set of 6 sterling handled butter spreaders or butter knives fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1917-18. This set consists of the 6-5/8" butter spreaders with stylish pistol handle sterling handles and steel blades and the fitted 8-3/8" x 6-1/4" black paper wrapped box. The box has gold trim, a purple velvet fitted platform,and a silk liner with the retailer's stamp (CHARLES PACKET & CO. LTD. LONDON). This lovely set was made by Harrison Bros. & Howson, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, monograms, repairs or damage other than some surface spotting on the blades (the worst blade is shown and they can be buffed if desired) and a bit of rubbing and gold loss on the case.
