| An elegant early French Art Deco egg set, of the type usually given as a christening or baby gift, c1920. This item consists of a 2" silver plated egg cup with stepped sides, the matching 4-3/8" egg spoon and the original plush and silk lined fitted box. The box is wrapped in embossed brown paper with gold trim and a brass closure. A silk retailer's banner for Pillon-Gineslet, Nice, France is on the interior, and each piece is stamped with a maker's mark (slightly obscured). This set is in excellent condition with no losses, dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than a small split in the silk liner.
