A 14K gold 3 natural black opals and diamond pendant circa 1970s. This custom made yellow gold pendant measures 2" x 1-1/8". It is in an abstract shape. The bezel-set opals are high quality and have magnificent colour play with fiery reds, blues and greens, and they total approximately 1.50 carats, and the diamond is 5 points (VS2, F-G color). The the gold modernist design pendant has a textured surface and there is an integrated loop on the back. It weighs 7.8 gr., it comes with a conservative gemological appraisal for $2500CAN and it is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Please note that there is some crazing on one opal. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
