A Victorian gilt cast iron stand up picture frame from 1890-1900. This 12" tal and 9" wide frame has a swinging foot support and three wire swinging picture stays on the back - two original and one replaced with recent washers. It has a stamped and relief number 4 at the rear bottom and an impressed 08576 number at the top. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the replacement picture holder wire. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
