A 19thC V. Loria Italy signed fishing boat watercolour. This Vincenzo Loria (Salerno, Italy 1849-1939) 23" x 12" unframed watercolour on (cardstock) board depicts a Neapolitan fishing boat on the water. An excellent painting for its play of light and detail, it is signed V. LORIA NAPOLI in the lower left corner. This painting does have some condition issues - a stain in the sky on the upper left, a few tatters on the extreme edges, some browning and minor fading, and some woodworm holes on the lower right in the water, visible more on the back. It also has a small assortment of old wormhole tracks on the cardstock on the back. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
