| An extremely fine 19th century natural shell cameo mounted in 12K yellow gold. This large 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" cameo features a beautiful left-facing portrait of a lovely woman - her hair is shown with a most unusual wind-swept appearance, and she is very nicely carved. It has a gate-latch safety catch and it weighs 17.4 grams. This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some fine internal stress lines just below the portrait. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
