| An ornate solid 800 silver pair of European 7-3/8" long hinged pastry tongs. The handles have hand-made floral decoration and the lifter end has roses, and would also work nicely for serving asparagus. This pretty serving piece is stamped 800 with a chevrons maker's mark (unidentified), and it weighs 79.6 grams. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a file mark where someone tested it enthusiastically for silver content. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
