| A scarce and unusual 1950s kitsch kitchenware ceramic cooler with lid. This red striped lidded two piece container has a place for a spigot (not present), and it has a black COOLER on a banner on the front. It has a partially obscured number and COUNTRY CLUB on the bottom. This cooler is missing these details, but we have has other pieces in this line - which are usually also marked Designed by Yona, and sometimes retain their Shafford sticker. It is painted, not transfer, and it measures 10" high. It is in very good condition with no cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a paint fleck where the spigot or cork would have been inserted and a glaze flake or miss on the upper rim. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
