An ornate good quality silver plate 4 PC tea set and matching large tray. This set consists of the 5-3/4" (lip to handle) cream jug, the 8" handle to handle covered sugar bowl, the 9-1/8" high coffee pot with wood handle, and the 12" wood handle to spout teapot, together with the engraved 27-1/4" x 16" duck footed serving tray. The tea set has gadroon edges and the pieces are stamped SILVERPLATE ON COPPER SHEFFIELD REPRODUCTION with the International mark and the 1028 pattern number. The tray is stamped with OLD ENGLISH REPRODUCTION and an L BROS. maker's mark. It has a gadroon edge / similar design. This set is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of copper blush to the gadroon edge on the teaset, the re-soldering of the hinged lid and some minor abrasions on the waist of the teapot, and some minor surface pitting and black marks to the tray (slight). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
