| A vintage 1938 white metal 1-7/8" x 1-3/8" vesta or match safe depicting the British Empire Exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland 1938. This embossed match holder was made by Bryant & Mays and it has a glued-on paper litho view of the fair. This unusual advertising fair item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of about 3/4 of what looks like silver or nickel plating; the printed graphics are in great shape. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
