A vintage 1972 set of brass medallions from the ill-fated Munich, Germany 1972 Olympics. These Canadian Olympic Association medals measure 1-1/8 x 1-1/16" across and they have the Canadian Olympic logo on one side and all of the different sports pictograms on the other sides. They are in a fitted plush-lined box with gold stamping and a faux leather brown wrapped hardbody case. It is complete and in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor surface corrosion on one face of one coin only and minor corner rubs on the case. All

This set consists of the 2-1/2 x 2-1/8" (across the interior) hinged 1-1/2" wide (across the top) bracelet with a sliding button clasp and the matching 2-1/2 x 2" dress clip. An evocative and colourful 18" x 15" signed watercolour on thick matte paper by the Canadian aboriginal artist Tom Hogan (1955-). Mr Hogan was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, and now resides in Ottawa. He works in the Woodlands style of art. The painting is done in thick watercolour paints some of which have a glossy sheen.
