A lovely vintage matched pair of 4-1/2" tall lidded cloisonne enamel tea caddy jars c1900-20. Each has pleasing floral designs in rust red, pink, yellow, light and dark green with blue decoration and blue interiors and bottoms. They are marked CHINA, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a 1/8" bruise with minor chipping to the enamel on a leaf on the lower side of one jar, and a bruise with losses and chips to one top. An attractive 4-3/8" diameter and 2-1/4" high Qing period Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl c1880-1900. Depicting the classic scene of dragons chasing a celestial pearl, this unsigned bowl has rich colours and an external cobalt blue ground; the interior is a medium turquoise blue. The dragons are yellow with five claws, which in the Qing period meant that they are symbols of the Chinese emperor. Please note that the yellow and turquoise are a little darker and more subdued shade than appears in our pictures. A beautiful, simple and elegant 32-1/2" Chinese high-carat gold rod and loop chain with a simple s-hook clasp in 22k+ yellow gold. This chain has a Chinese gold mark and a CB. maker's mark and it tests as 22k or better (our top carat testing acid is 22k, and this chain is in all probability a full 24 carat, which is not unusual with some Chinese gold jewellery). It weighs an impressive 21.9 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A pair of late 18th/early 19th century Chinese cloisonne enamel lobed plant pots. These similar but not identical 7-1/2 x 5-3/4" bowls feature blue grounds and well-executed multicolour cloisonne designs. They are both footed and unsigned and each has water drain holes in the bottoms. Each bowl has some damage, with incomplete or chipped enamel under the rims, enamel misses and chips and a large loss to the upper rim enamel on one pot. This pair is in fair original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than stated above (see pictures). An attractive antique Japanese 7-1/2" shallow 1-1/4" high bowl in the Imari palette from the 19th century. This lovely export piece has nice enamelled decoration of floral and bamboo panels with a peach in the centre, in gold, orange, green, yellow, light blue and cobalt blue with fine gold diapering. It has a stylized mark and blue decoration on the bottom and outer side, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs othetr than a very slight bit of gold rubbing in places. A vintage cotton-backed 83 x 19" Chinese embroidered silk bed hanging decoration c1880-1900. This beautiful fringed hanging has wonderful embroidery, including gold and multi-colour silk thread depicting flowers, butterflies, fish, people and many other symbolic figures and images. It is mounted on a powder pink cotton backing and it has a fine 7" fringe and edge netting. There appear to be some Chinese symbols or a signature and an initial on a cotton corner. It has sewn red loops on the back of the fringe edge for the suspension of some article(s) and the top has a sewn fold for hanging much like a curtain-on-rod. This item is in excellent original condition with no rips, tears, fading, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor soiling to the cotton backing and some traces of thumbtacks from previous hangings. A high quality late 18th-early 19th century Chinese Canton enamel bowl on bronze with original gilding c1800. This lobed 7-3/4" x 6-1/4" beauty stands 3-1/8" high; the hand enamelling is particularly fine, done to the Chinese taste, and the rim retains much of its original gilding. The interior is a pale water blue enamel, the bottom is speckled white, and the upper rim has a Greek key design border. This bowl is in superb original condition, with no cracks, scrapes, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight touch of wear to the gilding on the edges and some minor discolouration spots to the interior enamel.
