An attractive and vintage 10-1/2" high (without handles) deep handled Micmac or M'ikmaq tribal basket c1920s-30s. This attractive deep basdket features woven sweetgrass handles and ash splint construction, with some original green, orange and red colour remaining, especially in the interior. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than one tiny break (see image) and some very minor splits to a few of the curls. Please note that the green on the interior is much more intense than in our pictures, and that the colour is more light faded on the exterior, although still visible. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A high quality, bright and colourful Belgian design woven tapestry cotton and silk table runner c1900-10. This beautiful 52" x 26" table runner features flowers and phoenix birds, and the colours include blue, red, gold, lilac and silver. The verso design itself is also quite attractive, with black, lilac and green. This item is in excellent original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying to a few areas of the black stitched edging and a small stain on the reverse not affecting the front; the colours are bright and unfaded. A finely made vintage Chinese sterling silver filigree butterfly necklace c1910-20. This 34-3/4" round link chain has a rod and loop clasp, and it has a nicely detailed filigree 1-7/8" x 3/4" butterfly pendant, with a suspended 1" Peking glass (imitation jade) teardrop. It is unsigned, and it tests as high grade silver. It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A high quality late 18th-early 19th century Chinese Canton enamel bowl on bronze with original gilding c1800. This lobed 7-3/4" x 6-1/4" beauty stands 3-1/8" high; the hand enamelling is particularly fine, done to the Chinese taste, and the rim retains much of its original gilding. The interior is a pale water blue enamel, the bottom is speckled white, and the upper rim has a Greek key design border. This bowl is in superb original condition, with no cracks, scrapes, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a slight touch of wear to the gilding on the edges and some minor discolouration spots to the interior enamel. A beautiful antique 5-3/8" tall Chinese export porcelain trumpet or bud vase c1750 from the Qianlong period (1736-1795), Qing dynasty. This vase is 3-1/16" across the mouth and it has a pleasing, crisp design and a landscape scene with a fisherman. It has a very slight tan brown (Batavian) glaze to the upper and lower border and it has the expected minor glaze flaws, original to the manufacture. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, losses, repairs or damage; it has an easily removed cork set inside the vase, probably put there to stabilize flowers. A vintage Eastern Canada round covered sweetgrass and wood splint basket with colour decoration c1900. This 7-1/2" diameter and 3-1/4" high Mi'kmaq / Micmac or Penobscot basket has a twisted rope-style construction, and it retains bright dyed colours of the bottom and interior, in blue, red and orange. This basket, which was almost surely sold as a sewing basket originally, is in very good original condition with no breaks, cracks, material losses, damage or repairs other than the fading of the colours on the top of the lid. An attractive antique Japanese 7-1/2" shallow 1-1/4" high bowl in the Imari palette from the 19th century. This lovely export piece has nice enamelled decoration of floral and bamboo panels with a peach in the centre, in gold, orange, green, yellow, light blue and cobalt blue with fine gold diapering. It has a stylized mark and blue decoration on the bottom and outer side, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs othetr than a very slight bit of gold rubbing in places. A stunning and stylish vintage Chinese 17-1/2" necklace c1920s. This necklace consists of a large cloisonne enamel flat bead and two cloisonne round beads, small beads of natural angel coral and two sizes of natural red coral beads, with gold plated spacer beads and unusual and finely hand carved wood or nut beads depicting Chinese flowers, leaves and figures (possibly immortals). The carving on the vintage necklace is quite fine, and the largest cloisonne bead measures 1-7/16" across; the smallest spacer beads measure 1/16". The gilt snap catch has wirework and mesh and it is stamped SILVER, and this lovely item is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It has been re-strung a few years back on fine plastic cord. There is an occasional unevenness and a fine partial hairline crack in one coral bead, but these may be natually occuring in the coral, and they do not detract from this beautiful Chinese necklace.
