a vintage 1930s-40s boxed Cooke, Troughton & Simms surveyor's transit. This distance measuring instrument is painted in gunmetal gray with grey and black painted brass fittings. It has various calipers and adjustments with two glass levels, a lens cap and various mirrors and lenses and adjustments. It has a serial number V031546, and the wood box has fittings for various accessories and it includes a wrench. It has a metal Hughes-Ownes Co. Ltd. Canada label and a stamped retailer's mark on the lid's interior. The mahogany box has brass screws and fittings and a leather handle; the original lock is still present. This item is in very good original condition with the following condition issues: scrapes and wear to the box and paint loss to painted clasps, loss of two prongs on lock, minor dryness to leather, crack with liquid loss and fogging to one level under sighting mirror, crushing of small optic lens next to main sighting lens, minor touches of wear to paint. Overall this instrument is in easily restorable condition and all pivots and adjustments move freely. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A vintage 4-1/2 x 3" grey plastic watch box for the Hamilton 22J Medallion wristwatch. This box has a silk liner and velvet platform with a watch rest and gold and white highlights. It is stamped HAMILTON 22J MEDALLION FULLY-ADJUSTED SHOCK-RESISTANT LIFE-TIME MAINSPRING ANTI-MAGNETIC in black, red and gold. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some imprinting on the mount from a metal watch band. A quality, vintage 35mm. Zeiss-Ikon Contessa LK camera, issued from 1963-5. This camera features the Carl Zeiss Pronto LK Tessar 2.8/50 mm. lens, light meter and sighting window. It retains its original leather fitted case with wrist strap, and all mechanicals appear to be working. This item is in excellent original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of discolouration and rubbing to the case (with some minor seam cracks); the camera itself is free of scrapes and damage and it appears to have been well kept. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. An elegant, high quality Omega 17 jewel lady's manual wind wristwatch. This 3/4" across watch has a Speidel gold plated expansion band, a gold plated case, an Omega stainless steel back and a silver toned face with gold hands and markers. The gold toned works are marked SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS OMEGA WATCH Co SWISS 245 18537744 (caliber number 240, made in 1961). This watch currently runs and keeps time, but we do not know when it was last cleaned; we sell all of our timepieces as fully described as possible in our listings, without guarantee or warranty. We recommend that all timepieces be professionally cleaned and adjusted. This lovely watch is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage other than some minor loss to the gold on the strap and some light scratching to the crystal. A fine quality Swiss 14 carat white gold lady's wristwatch c1950-60. This watch has a 14k white gold back by Liberty (serial number 729563) which has a 1" x 5/8" gold step front with two 2-point genuine diamonds. The face is white with white gold numerals and hands. The works are stamped TWENTY-ONE 21 JEWELS SWISS ADJUSTED. It is made by Saldory and it includes a fitted plush watch box (with the Birks logo on the silk top lining). It has a Speidel white gold filled expansion band and it is in excellent condition with no dents, cracks, monograms, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some minor soiling on the face and the box has a broken spring (it closes perfectly but won't spring shut). This watch currently winds easily, and runs and keeps time, however we recommend all timepieces by professionally cleaned and adjusted; it is being sold as described without warranty. A splendid solid bronze Art Deco design inkwell with a stunning enamel inkwell cap with a galleon in full sail. This 6-5/8" x 4-7/8" ink stand has a pen rail, and it has the original clear glass inkpot. The cap is in sky blue, white and sea blue enamel and it has a wonderful brass galleon with clouds and ocean waves. The cap sits (no hinge) on the inkpot, and this inkwell is signed BUTLER JONES (NAMEPLATES) LTD. LONDON - we are not sure if this came from an office, or even if this firm is still in business. The mounts and rubber-washer mounted feet are secured by brass screws and this inkstand is in excellent condition with no dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than a small flake and some slight scratches to the enamel, none of which go through to metal.
