A simple and elegant 9-1/8" x 7-1/8" sterling silver stand-up picture frame c1920s. It retains its original green velvet backing, which has a brass loop for hanging the mirror on a wall as well as the easel strut to allow it to stand up on a surface. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An English French Ivory velvet and silk-lined 1-5/8" across ring box with brass pushbutton closure c1910. This Edwardian box is marked MADE IN ENGLAND on the bottom and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of fraying to one end of the silk at the hinge and a bit of roughness/dirt on the edges (original to the manufacturing of the box). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. This is a pair of vintage 1950s painted chalkware bookends of seated male and female Nubian figures. They stand 9" tall and 6" actross the "pillow" they are seated on; each has a fitted glass dish (purpose unknown) and they are painted in orange, black and gold. They are unsigned, and they are in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a very few small paint flakes on the female and some moderate flakes on the male at the feet and front of the bowl area. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A vintage c1910-20 Art Nouveau design pair of German / European china hand painted figural lamps in the form of a young boy in Edwardian garb. He is standing next to a graceful shaped Art Nouveau design post, with flowing lines and moulded acanthus leaf and floral designs in the china, the moulding is crisp and well-detailed for the post and figures both. The floral swag and front flower are hand painted on the front of the lamps. Measuring 5-1/2" tall (with an added 3" for the socket fittings), these unsigned and rewired lamps have a hand painted 23 on one lamp base and a 19 on the other. They are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs other than some wear to the painted fine line gilt decoration. The pink hand painted decoration on the post is slightly lighter in colour on one lamp than the other, but this is original to the manufacture of the lamps. A fine quality porcelain lamp with gilt metal mounts c1920s. In the Prattware style, this handpainted china lamp is most likely Noritake, although we were unable to disassemble it for examination. It has 3 colour Greek mythology-style portrait medallions and a Greek key band at the neck all on a deep and vigrant orange ground; it measures 12-1/2" from the base to the top of the decorative upper metal collar (excluding the 15-1/4" shaft, socket, harp and finial). It has a replaced socket body and it has been rewired in the past; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs (other than mentioned above). A cool and decorative vintage 1920s silver plated figural lamp with original shade. This 10" high lamp (to the top of the socket) has a silver plated figure of a proud pirate mounted on a metal plinth with felt backing; it includes the original 5-3/4" high and 7-1/2" wise celluloid lamp shade. The shade features lithophane-style graphics of a pirate ship on one side, a pirate and ship on the other, and decorative borders on the sides. The images show up when the bulb shines through the celluloid panels, which are held onto the metal frame by leather stitching. This item has been rewired and retains its original hardware; it is in very good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs. It has a partial tag from Silverware Products Canada on the bottom, and the shade has a few splits to the leather binding, a loss and cracks to the celluloid on the lower corners of the boat side and on the lower extreme corner of the pirate side. A decorative vintage Art Deco table lamp with glass shade c1930s. This 7-3/4" long and 7-3/4" tall lamp features a chrome plated rearing antelope facing a tulip-shaped pink and white glass shade mounted in a slip-in base with acanthus leaves; It has a toggle switch and it has the original label from the Silverware Products Company of Canada. This beauty has been rewired (but retains its original plug), and it is in very good condition with no dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor scrapes and wear spots on a couple of areas to the chrome and a rim chip to the interior edge of the shade.
