A stylish, well-made Italian three-footed 10-1/4" diameter fruit bowl c1970. This bowl has a pleasing looped edge design with silver beading and three feet with branch designs. It is stamped 800 with a post-1968 STAR 96 PG mark (manufacturer 96 from the province of Perugia). This lovely serving bowl weighs 262 grams (8.42 troy ounces), and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, monograms, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All

An attractive, high quality Art Deco period set of six 3-3/8" diameter blown glass 3" tall fine glass teacups with the original brass handled holders, signed by the German manufacturer Carl Deffner. The Carl Deffner metal works stated in Esslingen, Germany in 1815, and sons and grandsons continued in the firm, producing high quality and beautifully designed metal items until the factory was sold in 1969. All of the Deffners had extensive training in design and metalwork manufacture, and they produced really fine examples of Art Nouveau and Art Deco design. A spectacular Iran silver hand tooled 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" silver cigarette case. This beautiful silver item features finely detailed engraving on each side, the engraving done in a fashion to resemble classic Iranian carpets. It weighs an impressive 159 grams, it has 20th century Iranian silver marks, thumblift tabs on each side, and a strong spring to keep it closed. It has an elastic cigarette retaining strap, and this beauty is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An attractive pair of late Arts & Crafts hammered pewter candlesticks. These 7-3/8" sticks feature a hammered finish and they are stamped MANOR PERIOD SHEFFIELD PEWTER 2065 CONNELL 83 CHEAPSIDE LONDON. The English company Travis Wilson & Co. took the name Manor Period Pewter in 1926, and one stick has an inscription saying TO R.G. SHAPLEY FROM THE COMMITTEE AND MEMBERS OF THE SECONSIDS. APRIL 25th 1936. This pair is in very good condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor spotting on the patina and some minor bending to the rims (they don't appear completely flat). A heavy vintage Mexican sterling silver 4-1/4 x 3-1/8" cedar-lined cigarette box c1940s-60s. This box has a decorated relief edge and four flat feet; it is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO PLATA .925 STERLING with a 1 eagle or bell mark and an unidentified V over M maker's mark. A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. The set weighs 1074 grams (approximately 34.6 troy ounces or just over 38 avoirdupois ounces, or a bit over 2 pounds of sterling silver).
