An unusual vintage PZH Gouda Dutch pottery miniature 3" vase. PZH stands for Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland, which operated from 1898-1964. This vase has the date cypher for 1930, it has the pattern name ABO with the 939 (or 989) pattern number and the PZH Gouda mark. The colours are bright and vivid, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some small craze lines on the white band at the shoulder. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A bright and unusual 10-1/8" Dutch art pottery vase produced at Plateelbakkerij De Iris, a part of Gouda pottery c1925-1968. After 1968, it was taken over by Montagne. This charming hand painted vase has yellow, green, red, teal and blue three dimensional designs of vines and flowers, and it is signed 3303 (probably model number) a flower mark, TEKA (we are guessing this is the pattern name) HAND-PAINTED MADE IN HOLLAND with a GB, most likely the artist's initials, on the bottom. We believe this vase dates from c1930-1950. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, losses, repairs or damage. Surface shipping starts at $16 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.
