A vintate c1930 signed Moeris 16 lignes (size 8) stem wind pocket watch in a fancy striped niello enamel 1-7/8" diameter European 900 silver case. It has a printed gray paper face with rose gold coloured hands and a seconds dial, with a (yellowed) celluloid crystal. The works are gold plated and marked MOERIS and the silver case is stamped 0.900 with NIEL HF and a birdcage and crescent moon maker's marks along with various service marks. From the NAWCC message board: "...likely made by Huguenin Freres (HF in a shield) of Le Locle, Switzerland. NIEL refers to a case with Niello decoration, a popular decorative technique. Niello silver cases are typically made with relieved designs colored with a chemical oxidation. This oxidation may appear to be tarnish or dirt today, but it was originally part of the design. The .900 would be the silver content, and that's a standard for European (including German) cases". This watch appears to run and keep time and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor niello loss at one edge on the back cover (see image). A classic, high quality lady's 10k white gold wristwatch by Hamilton. Famous for their quality, this watch has a 14k solid white gold serpentine 6-5/8" strap with a double safety snap clasp, a 1" x 9/16" front with 12 single point diamonds, and a solid gold back and case. The works are marked HAMILTON U.S.A. 757 22 JEWELS and the face has applied white gold hands and markings. The case is stamped 14 KARAT SOLID GOLD L07051. The case and strap (including crystal but without the works) weighs 10.2 grams, and this watch is currently working and keeping time, however we recommend all timepieces be cleaned and adjusted; it is being sold as described without warranty, as we have no idea when or if it has ever been serviced. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor soiling to the watch face and some scratches to the crystal. An elegant European lady's wristwatch in 18K white gold. This Condor watch measures 5/8" across the face and the face is surrounded by genuine round cut diamonds, which are single point (21 in all). The band has a textured finish and serpentine style, and it has a snap over clasp. The works are unmarked and it has ruby jewels and this watch works and keeps time; it weighs 20.9 grams including the works. The clasp is stamped .750 BREVET with a maker's mark as is the watch base. This item appears to be in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor scrapes to the crystal (exaggerated in the image). The watch is currently working, but we do not know if or when it was last serviced, so it does not come with a warranty or guarantee. A vintage maroon velvet Bulova man's watch box with gilt mounts c1930s. This 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" box has a mount for a man's Bulova wristwatch, a velvet and shiny material liner, and a gold stamp saying BULOVA CANADA'S FINEST TIMEPIECES. It has a BULOVA name impressed into the front of the case (we're not sure if it has a metal nameplate or if it was impressed as it appears). The gilt brass feet retain their gilding, and this case is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying of the velvet at the mount, the tearing of the shiny material which links the top and bottom (still present), and some rubs to the nap on the upper edges of the outer case. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A stylish vintage Art Deco European 14 carat white and yellow gold wristwatch with a rolled gold plate white and yellow gold mesh band c1920s-30s. This 1" x 5/8" watch has a marked .585 gold case with white gold highlights, an oval Deco face with blued hands and black markings, and an unmarked Swiss jewelled movement. The mesh strap is marked ROLLED GOLD and it is adjustable, and it has alternating white and yellow gold segments. This watch doesn't hold spring tension, however the movement and balance wheel appear clean and free-moving; our watches are sold in as-described condition without warranty. This item is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of the plating showing brass on the winder (crown) and a small chip to the crystal at one extreme corner. A fine quality vintage 1960s-70s Seiko 17 jewel blue face automatic wristwatch. This watch measures 1-1/2" across the case, it has Speidel expansion band, a blue metallic face with opposing blue middle stripe, luminous hands and markings, and a day/date window. It is marked SEIKO AUTOMATIC 17 JEWELS JAPAN 7009 - 806LS. The case is stamped SEIKO WATER RESISTANT 760172 STAINLESS STEEL 7009-8069. The automatic works are stamped SEIKO TIME CORP JAPAN 17J. 7009A. This watch runs and keeps time. This watch appears to be in excellent working order with no cracks, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected signs of gentle use - please note there are some fine scuff marks from use on the case and the crystal (which is clear plastic) - we try to take accurate photos, but they may appear more obvious in our photos due to the blow-up. We don't know the maintenance history of this watch (if any).
