A set of three matching Art Nouveau 1-1/4" sterling silver buttons fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1902-3. These buttons have a single loop shank and they depict finely detailed kissing cherubs with fancy borders; they weigh from 5.7 to 6 grams each. They have the maker's mark for Levi and Salaman, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. A vintage Georgian hand-carved lava portrait cameo brass-backed button c1800. This unsigned 1-1/8" clothing accessory is 1/4" thick at its highest relief; the design is a Greek female profile portrait. This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, scrapes, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some wear to the high points of the carving obscuring the fine detail and three small rim chips on the underside edge. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
