A bright and cheerful 1920s Japan peach lustre four piece cruet or condiment stand. In the form of stylized lotus flowers, this stand consists of the lidded mustard pot with frog finial, the salt and the pepper shakers all on the fitted 5-1/2 x 4-3/4" handled stand. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of slight rubbing to the base lustre from the bottom of the shakers and some flaking to the black on the handle. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. An early 1960s pair of Japanese salt and pepper shakers in the form of yellow-haired girls in white and red checkered hats. They are often referred to as cutie pie shakers. These 3" high matching shakers are marked JAPAN 7028 on the bottom and they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some long craze lines on each shaker and the cork on one has fallen into the interior. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A kitschy creamer and covered sugar with spoon set in the form of birds c1950-60. This 4-1/4" high creamer and 5-1/2" high sugar bowl both are stamped ESD JAPAN HAND PAINTED and they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some craze lines on the sugar bowl lid only.
