A well made English sterling thimble in its original fitted box, fully hallmarked Birmingham, England 1923-4. This 7/8" high and 5/8" across thimble is stamped with the hallmarks, the maker's mark H.G&S (Henry Griffith & Sons), and the size 13. It has a high relief flower band design, and the 1-1/8 x 15/16" carboard box is stamped GOLDSMITH & JEWELLER W. AUSTIN BALSAM 14, KING STREET. READING. This thimble appears unused and mint in the box, and it retains its tarnish, which we haven't cleaned. This item is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of rubbing on the top of the box. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted. A stylish Art Deco period vintage 14K white and yellow solid gold wristwatch with a matching Art Deco period rolled gold plate white and yellow gold mesh band c1920s-30. This 1" x 5/8" 14k yellow gold watch has a marked .585 gold case (European mark for 14K) with white gold highlights. It has an oval face with blued hands and black Art Deco numerals, and an unmarked Swiss jewelled movement (5 rubies are visible in the movement when you open the back). The Art Deco period mesh strap is marked ROLLED GOLD and it is adjustable, and it has alternating white and yellow rolled gold plate segments, which complements the watch beautifully, and is original to the period of the watch case. This watch doesn't currently run. The movement and balance wheel appear to be in very clean condition with no rust or corrosion, so it may be a minor thing, but we don't fix or specialize in watches, so our watches are sold in as-described condition. This item is in otherwise very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the wear to the plating on the winder (crown) and a small sliver chip to the crystal at one extreme corner. A lovely, well made gilt sterling souvenir spoon c1890-1900, with a multicoloured enamel maple leaf crest and a raised VICTORIA (British Columbia) in the bowl. This spoon measures 2-1/2" long and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
