A heavy, vintage Art Deco 3-3/8 x 3-1/4" sterling silver cigarette case fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1936. It has a textured finish with stepped sides, a gilt and hallmarked interior and a pushbutton clasp. It has a cigarette retaining cloth strip and a JH monogram; it weighs an impressive 101.2 grams (over 3 ounces) and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A gilt metal and screen-printed plastic pub advertising sign for Whitbread Tankard beer c1950s-60s. This 8-5/8" x 3-1/8" bar table or counter advertising sign has white, gold, red and gold screening on a royal blue plastic oval, set in to a metal tripod-style base. Whitbread Tankard is an English beer, first introduced in 1958 or 1959 by the Whitbread brewery. (The Whitbread brewery is no longrer in business). It has a detachable cap covering the flint, wheel and wick cylindrical lighter. It has a lion or griffon figure over an E maker's mark; the lighter is in a screw-mounted container which anchors the lantern top. A bright and cheerful 1920s Japan peach lustre four piece cruet or condiment stand. In the form of stylized lotus flowers, this stand consists of the lidded mustard pot with frog finial, the salt and the pepper shakers all on the fitted 5-1/2 x 4-3/4" handled stand.
