A group of three 5-3/4" sterling silver seafood forks in the Colonial flatware pattern, introduced by Gorham in 1885. These forks have fancy JJG(?) monograms, they are stamped Lion Anchor G STERLING, they weigh 14.4 grams each, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A small selection of sterling silver teaspoons and five o'clock spoons in the Versailles flatware pattern, introduced by Gorham in 1888. The 6" teaspoons have an M monogram on the back of the handles and they are stamped with the Lion Anchor G mark plus STERLING COPYWRITED; they weigh 32.1 grams each. The five o'clock spoons are 5-1/8" long, they weigh 20.2 grams each, they have an underhandle S monogram and they are stamped Lion Anchor G STERLING plus ST in diamonds. These spoons are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A scarce 7" American sterling silver master butter knife by Hotchkiss & Schreuder, Syracuse, New York (1850-71). We haven't identified this attractive pattern, and this knife is stamped H&S STERLING H.T. COOK & CO (the retailer). It has a Gothic W monogram, it weighs 38.9 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
