An Art Deco vintage 2-3/16" across compact with a fine scenic enamel top and a guilloche enamel bottom c1920. This compact features a fine river scene and the bottom is in salmon pink enamel; the interior is gilt and it has the revolving pierced powder dispenser wheel and a mirror in the top. There are no stamps or marks anywhere that we could find. This item is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bruise with clear layer loss and cracking on the edge of the enamel as well as a smaller bruise beside it (see images) on the bottom. All

A fine quality fully hallmarked Art Deco period sterling silver nail buffer with beautiful rose pink guilloche enamel decoration. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1925-6, this buffer measures 6" x 1-5/8" and it stands 2-3/8" high. The top features a blue plain enamel interior and the enamel covers the top and the bottom's sides. It has the maker's mark for Charles S. Green & Co., it weighs 146 grams, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small impact under the bottom's lip (see pic) and a similar small chip on the bottom corner. Please note that there is no filled chamois section for use on the nails. A vintage Art Deco period 3-5/8" x 5/8" carved Bakelite nail grooming kit from Austria c1930. This vanity item features a carved threaded two-piece cylinder topped with an elephant figure with black glass bead eyes and traces of red colour; it is stamped AUSTRIA on the bottom. Included is the one remaining grooming tool - a cuticle pusher with bakelite handle (marked KLEIN-AUSTRIA). An beautifully tailored vintage Art Deco black velvet full length evening coat c1930s. This elegant mid 1930s period coat has a rich claret or intense raspberry red upper lapels and cowl hood interior (it was very difficult to get the red colour correct in photos) and it could be worn with the hood over the head or with the edge rolled back slightly, showing an arc of striking deep red velvet around the face. It is lined in ivory-cream satin with panelled construction and pile-pleated shoulders. The coat has typical 1930s bias panels so the coat has an elegant feminine flare when you are walking. It has an interior pocket, and a satin interior tie belt that can be tied to the additional facing velvet loop to allow for a more fitted waist. Both the velvet and satin are excellent quality. It measures 18" from shoulder to shoulder, 55-1/2" from shoulder to hem and it has a approximately 27" waist. It has no tailor tag, so was a custom tailored piece - it is of high quality workmanship and it is in excellent original condition with no damage, disintegration, flaws, repairs or signs of wear other than a small 1/2" flap tear at the shoulder and some creases (which may be fixable with steaming, but I don't have the equipment or expertise). Please note that the closeup of the tear and collar shows a white crease and white around the tear - this is halogen reflection. There is a little lint showing on the coat also. A c1900 swing-out lorgnette eyeglasses on a handle in heavy rolled gold plate. These folding spectacles measure 4-1/2" long and the lenses are 1-1/2" across. They open on a spring triggered by pushing down the ringed collar near the ribbon loop on the end of the handle; they have an unidentified maker's mark, and the mechanism works perfectly and the lenses are unscratched.
