A superb lp by the undeservedly unheralded Spooky Tooth. This 1969 album features a hard-rocking Gary Wright ("Dream Weaver"), great raspy vocals by Mike Harrison, soaring guitar by Luther Grosvenor (aka Ariel Bender in Mott the Hoople) and Mike Kellie on drums (Only Ones). Each and every cut is superb, with soaring and masterful heavy guitar, swirling organ and great vocals - a must have for fans of late 1960s British rock. This is the second Island LSP 9098 fold-open UK pressing with the colour palm tree label; pressing and production are superb.
All records are original pressings with all original inserts and sleeves unless noted; each and every flaw is listed and accurately graded, with no need for vague and subjective Goldmine-style gradings. All gradings are visual unless noted; audible grading is on sensitive high-end equipment.
