A gold plated brass and enamel pin with banner and hanging figure skate commemorating the 1940s Canadian figure skater Barbara Ann Scott, who won a gold medal in the 1948 Olympics. This 1-3/4 x 1-5/8" pin features a banner with blue enamel and Scott's name, it has a c-clasp, it is marked BREADNER CO. OTTAWA, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Am impressive and ornate English silverplated 8-1/8" high and 4-3/8" across award trophy in the shape of a goblet or footed cup. This unmarked beauty features high repousse decoration with fruit and scrolling and it has two cartouches with engraved dedications. One side says WINNER OF R.A.C. STEEPLE CHASE with the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester crest and the other is engraved E.A. CLIFFORD AP. 3RD 1867 with a DULCIS AMOR PATRIAE emblem ("Sweet is the love of one's country"). This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A 10-1/8" x 7-5/8" sterling silver award bowl made by International Silver c1930. This bowl is inscribed THE BUFFALO DISTRICT GOLF ASSOCIATION INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIP 1930 5th FLIGHT WON BY in the center; it has no winner's name, and it is stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING X108-1 on the back. This trophy bowl weighs 7.7 ounces (215 grams) and it is in excellent original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some small dents on the shoulder and edge of the bottom.
