A lovely Japanese woodblock print by Keinen Imao (Japan, actual name Imao Isaboru, 1845-1923), entitled "Baby Blue Jay & Blue Morning Glories". This print has a sight size of 9-1/4" x 6-3/4" and it is in a vintage painted wood 17" x 13" frame, possibly contemporary with the production of the print. It is signed and titled "Bird and Morning Glory" and "Keinen" in pencil on the mat, and the print itself has the Shima Art Company publishers mark, on the lower left. This item is in excellent condition with no foxing, staining, fading, rips or tears, losses, damage or repairs. The print paper is a light beige tone, so it may have darkened slightly over time. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
