A signed and framed Halfred Tygesen pastel painting c1940. Tygesen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark about 1890, and arrived in Canada c1927 and died in 1951. It is in its original gilt frame, with the original Tygesen gallery information sticker on the back; the total size is 19-1/4" x 23-1/2". This pastel is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, foxing, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor scuffs and scrapes on the frames - the right-hand pastel of the cottage on a hill with walkway is currently available (the other is sold). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
