A lovely Japanese woodblock print by Keinen Imao (Japan, actual name Imao Isaboru, 1845-1923), entitled "Baby Blue Jay & Blue Morning Glories". This print has a sight size of 9-1/4" x 6-3/4" and it is in a vintage painted wood 17" x 13" frame, possibly contemporary with the production of the print.. It is signed and titled "Bird and Morning Glory" and "Keinen" in pencil on the mat, and the print itself has the Shima Art Company publishers mark, on the lower left. This item is in excellent condition with no foxing, staining, fading, rips or tears, losses, damage or repairs. The print paper is a light beige tone, so it may have darkened slightly over time. A well-painted and colourful oil painting on board by Frank E. Cavell (Canada, 1909-80, AOCA (Associate of the Ontario College of Art)). The scene is titled (on the gallery label on the back) "Routley's Mill Bruce County", it has an image size of 19-1/2 x 15-1/2". It is signed on the bottom/lower left. It is in a vintage 1950s gilt wood and gesso 26" x 22" frame. The colours are bright and vibrant, and this painting by a listed Canadian artist is in clean excellent condition with no damage, fading, tears, cracks, soiling, or other damage, except for a crack in the frame's gesso in the top central medallion. An untitled oil on board painting by Lionel Macdonald Stephenson (Canada, 1854-1907) depicting a rocky shore line with island. Famous for his paintings of Fort Garry (Winnipeg, Manitoba), this 12-1/4 x 9-1/4" artwork is in a period (repainted) gold 17-1/2 x 14-1/2" frame. An evocative semi-erotic colour lithograph print entitled "Nokemono", (translated from Japanese - outcast) produced in 1969 by Fumio Tamura (Japan, 1941-). Fumio Tamura was born in the Nagano prefecture, and he graduated from Tokyo Art College in 1968, so this 1969 litho dates from early in his career. It is in a metal frame, and it measures 24-1/2" x 21", with an image size of 18" x 14-1/2". It is a very small edition issue, inscribed in pencil 2/7, with the title in Japanese and in English NOKEMONO and it has the artist's signature F. Tamura '69. It retains the original Toronto gallery sticker on the back, and this print is is in excellent condition with no foxing, tears, staining, fading, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A superbly painted 2-5/8 x 2-1/8" Federal period miniature portrait painting on ivory. This cased portrait dates to the Federal period (c1805-15) and it features a woman with draped headdress and white dress. the features are extremely well painted, and the case is leather over wood with a brass clasp. It is unsigned and the artist and subject are unidentified, with no provenance available. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, damage or repairs other than some loss to the silk interior liner and some minor wear and spotting on the leather. All

A framed 1920s vintage copper plate etching by George Huardel-Bly (1872-19??) of France. The etching depicts a (probably) Parisian church (there is a pasted notation on the back paper lining which is too faded to make out), and the image size is 9-3/8 x 4". The etching has a fancy signature below the image, and the frame size is 13-7/8 x 7-3/4". The picture measures 10-1/14" x 13-1/2" and it is in a gilt gesso 16-3/4 x 14" period frame.
