A 19th century Scottish sterling silver banded agate pebble buckle brooch pin. From the early to mid-Victorian era, this large and dramatic pin measures 2-7/8 x 2-1/2". It has wonderfully striped and figured grey and white banded agate fitted stones with silver dividers and it has finely hand engraved and tooled decoration including a buckle, inner edge, decorated outer rim and an engraved pierced silver top. A Victorian gold filled photo locket on a fancy rolled gold plate chain necklace from the 1870s 1880s. This necklace is unusual in that it is gold filled and not the typical sterling silver and it features yellow gold plate and a strip of fancy bordered rose gold plate setting off the design. It has a subtle matte finish and the rose gold is glossy and it opens up to show two (very faded) baby photos which both have annotations with names and the date 1900 as well as the paper lining, original glass windows and both bezels. The locket measures 2-1/4 x 1" (including bale) and it comes on a fancy 19" long and 5/16" wide rolled gold plated chain which has a springring clasp and a safety chain.
