A fine and unusual c1930s swag pin (two brooches joined by chains) in the form of a scimitar and large crown. This stamped sterling pin closes with two safety catches, and the 2-7/8 x 5/8" sword is attached to the 1-1/2 x 1-1/8" crown by two lengths of chain (shortest 4-1/4"). It has nice embossed detail, and this pin is in excellent original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A fine, vintage sterling marcasite pin and earrings c1930s sold by Birks, Canada's leading retailer of fine goods. The brooch measures 2-3/8" x 1-5/8", it is laden with glinting graduated marcasites (or marquisites ), it has a safety catch, and it has a superb curled design with great appeal. The screwback earrings measure 7/8" x 3/4" and they have assorted sizes of marcasites and a floral style. All pieces are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
