A moderne design vintage synthetic alexandrite size 7-1/4 ring in 925 silver c1960s-70s. This ring measures 1-1/16" x 5/8" across the top, which holds a large facetted, claw-set simulated Alexandrite stone. The setting and stone is open-backed. These simulated alexandrites are actually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the purple to blue color change. This alexandrite-like sapphire material has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones test as corundums on a gem tester (Natural genuine alexandrites are expensive and uncommon, most of what you will see for sale is the simulated version). This stylish cocktail ring weighs 8.7 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All
items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A modern design vintage Italian 800 silver bracelet c1950-60. This beautifully made 7-1/2" bracelet is 11/16" wide. It has an insert clasp with safety loop, and it is constructed of repeating waves or a jagged line shaped strips withing two borders. It weighs a substantial 33.4 grams. It has the 800 silver grade mark and a pre-1968 province/city production of VI for Vicenza (the company number on the left is too worn to be clearly decipherable), and this attractive bracelet is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. An unusual handmade modernist .800 silver ring with three genuine cultured pearls in three triangular compartments c1950s-60. This size 7 ring has 3.1, 3.4 and 4.8 mm. pearls of smooth creamy white lustre (the middle one has a small bulge); it is unsigned except for the silver mark.
