A lovely vintage Arts and Crafts period stickpin c1900 with a natural bezel-set turquoise stone with four stalk-mounted natural pearls. The turquoise stone is greenish-blue and the four pearls range from 2-1/2 - 2-3/4 mm. The pin is in 14k yellow gold (unmarked but tested), it measures 2-5/8" long and 5/8" x 7/16" across the pearls, and it weighs 1.5 grams. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A wonderfully ornate mid-Victorian gold brooch with swags and a drop, with almandine garnet stones. This c1860 pin measures 2 x 1-1/4" (not including the original long c-clasp pin), it has fine wirework, texturing and fancy trim, bezel-set stones and chain swags. It is unmarked but tested and it weighs 6.2 grams; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than some old lead soldering on the bottom of one remounted swag (a bit of solder is visible from the front). A Georgian period size 7 ring in 9k (tested) rose gold c1770-1800. The "gemstones" are rose coloured hand cut paste stones with a foil backing, which was done to enhance the brilliance of the paste (the stones are also closed in the back). Paste was enormously popular from the end of the 17th century to the middle of the 19th century, due to the vast demand for diamonds and later coloured gemstones, which could not be met by the mining output of that period. The paste here is finely cut and quite brilliant, indicating an early and high quality manufacture. It measures 5/8" x 3/8" across the bezel-set stones and it weighs 3.4 grams. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the replacement of one of the foiled stones with a genuine rose tourmaline, and the band has been built up /re-hooped. There are some depressions in the backs of some of the smaller stone settings, and a pinpoint sized chip near the bottom of the largest stone, but that is reasonable for a ring of this age. An impressive early Victorian period 14k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1840-50. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 14k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). A beautiful vintage Victorian 14k three colour gold bracelet with a diamond c1880. This marked European beauty tests as 14k gold and it comes with a recent conservative independent appraisal. The diamond is a vintage rose cut, 0.20ct I clarity and H-I colour. The bracelet is oval shaped and measures 2-1/8" x 1-7/8" across the interior and the applied diamond setting measures 15/16" x 3/4". The oval setting is in yellow gold with a matte finish, and the square hollow tubular bracelet itself is rose gold and the decorative leaves are in green gold.
