A well-made and attractive 2-3/4" stickpin in 10k yellow gold c1900. This stickpin features a 13/16" x 5/8" oval top with fine tooling, bands of robin's egg blue enamel and an engraved DAD in the central area. It is stamped with a 14K gold mark (somewhat obscured - it tests as 14k gold), it weighs 2.2 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A scarce mid-Victorian 9k yellow gold bar pin with two claw-set real green scarab beetles c1870-90. Anything Egyptian was all the rage at this time, and this 2-1/4 x 5/8" brooch is typical. The beetles are real, this pin has a safety pin-style catch, it is stamped 9Ct and it weighs 3.7 grams; it has a loop for a safety chain and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to the head of one beetle. An impressive mid-Victorian long 14k gold necklace with ornate slide c1860-70. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 14k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (2 ounces!). This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the absent slide decoration. A beautiful vintage Victorian 14k three colour gold bracelet with a diamond c1880. This marked European beauty tests as 14k gold and it comes with a recent conservative independent appraisal. The diamond is a vintage rose cut, 0.20ct I clarity and H-I colour. The bracelet is oval shaped and measures 2-1/8" x 1-7/8" across the interior and the applied diamond setting measures 15/16" x 3/4". The oval setting is in yellow gold with a matte finish, and the square hollow tubular bracelet itself is rose gold and the decorative leaves are in green gold. It weighs 14.3 grams, it has a snap-in box catch and loops for a safety chain (no chain), and it appraises for $1,500 CAD. A lovely mid-Victorian piece of hair jewellery in 10k yellow gold c1860-80. This 1-3/4 x 1-3/8" pendant features a fine hand engraved (unmarked but tested) gold surround with a central concave transluscent moonstone agate, on which is mounted a gold-bordered hair insert. The insert and surround are bolted to the agate with hand-cut bolts, and it retains the original finely braided black hair, bezel and glass window. This item has been converted to a pendant, with a loop attached through a small drilled hole; the hinge for the pin remains and it could easily be converted back to a brooch with the addition of a pin and catch. It weighs 12.3 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage, other than the conversion.
