A mid-Victorian 9k yellow gold, black enamel and seed pearls size 7 mourning ring c1840-60. This 1/4" wide at the top ring has "IN MEMORY OF" around the band, it has an H&S maker's mark and a 9C gold mark; it weighs 2.2 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor enamel chipping and cracking. A beautiful late Victorian 7/8" across brooch with an enamelled flower with seed pearl center mounted on a wreath style wirework setting c1890. This pin's flower is in shaded hues of purple with green leaves; the wreath has a Roman finish and this pin has a c-clasp. A large 10K yellow gold late Victorian 1-1/4" across photo locket c1895-1900. This locket has an ornate engraved ELMS initials on one side; the other is plain. It has the soft satin finish in the rich pure yellow gold finish that was so popular at the end of the 19th century. This locket retains its original photo retaining bezels and it has celluloid windows. It weighs a substantial 10.5 grams, and it includes some instant ancestors. A late Victorian piece of initial jewellery fashioned out of a c1893-1901 English gold sovereign coin. This pin is of 22 carat gold with a c-clasp pin and mount also in gold. It measures 7/8" across, and the beautifully hand engraved initials are MI (or MJ) in a Gothic style; the ground of the engraving is finely stippled. An impressive mid-Victorian long 14k gold necklace with ornate slide c1860-70. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 14k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (2 ounces!). This item is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the absent slide decoration. A rather unusual Victorian 10 carat gold (unmarked but tested) stickpin c1890. This 2-1/2" stickpin has a gold plated pin and a 10k yellow gold top, a 7/8" x 1/2" head in the form of shooting stars or an explosion with seed pearls at each end of stalks. A nice Victorian 9k rose gold watch fob chain with swivel and a fob seal c1897. This 4" fob chain and 3/4" long seal are fully signed; the 9/16" x 7/16" seal has a full set of hallmarks for Birmingham, England 1897 (probably, since the year date is slightly worn); each link is stamped 9 .375, and the swivel is stamped as well. The seal has a fancy Gothic THC monogram and this well made watch chain weighs 10.9 grams. It is in excellent condition with no losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage.
