A fine example of Victorian gold craftsmanship. This is a late Victorian hinged bracelet in 14k yellow gold with graduated seed pearls and a central garnet. It measures 2-3/16 x 2" across the interior and it is 5/8" at its widest. It is stamped 14K on the tongue of the clasp, it has a safety chain, and it weighs 4.9 grams. A superb and evocative 1-5/8 x 1-3/8" mid-Victorian mourning pin in 14k yellow gold (unmarked but tested). This pin features a carved pink coral hand with black enamel bands on its sleeve, holding a wreath of flowers and leaves. There are seed pearls in the flower centers and there is a claw-set pearl in the center. It has a reeded edge and a c-clasp which has been added a bit later for wear as a brooch; originally it would have been a pendant and a small loop remains at the top. It is unsigned, it weighs 10.2 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some wear to the central pearl and the addition of the pin. Another survivor from the Victorian era. This is a size 4-1/4 ring with natural rubies, seed pearls and a central mine-cut diamond c1870s. This is a vintage mid-Victorian period ring in 15k yellow gold, with almandine garnets and natural pearls c1840-50. This size 7-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the top which has oval-shaped natural half pearls and a combination of cabachon and cushion-cut and mine-cut almandine garnets. This ring tests as 15k gold, and it has been re-hooped, resulting in the loss of any original hallmarks (if ever present).
